What Researchers, Parents & Campers Are Saying About
YMCA Camp Indian Springs
  • University of Utah Study Shows YMCA Camp Indian Springs promotes
"independence, friendship skills and competence as a result of camp."

  • "My son has never been to camp before, and your facility is about 500
miles from our home, so he was feeling pretty homesick the first day or
so. One day when he was feeling especially homesick and wanted to
come home, Biff (the Cabin Leader) took him aside and talked and
prayed with him. He even gifted (Him) with his own personal copy of a
study Bible so that he could read it and find some peace and comfort. I
plan to send Biff a thank you card, but wanted to share this with you so
that you would know how special your staff members truly are. (He) never
told me any details on what he and Biff talked about, but he was very
touched by the gift and has continued to read the study Bible. He came
home a different child and I have Biff and all the rest of the staff at CIS to
thank for it. I would also like to mention that I was incredibly impressed
with the way everything was so organized at sign-in and out times. You
guys really have it together. Thank you all."
